Traditional resumes rely on "self-claims", statements students make about themselves that lack immediate proof. For employers and universities, this creates a gap in trust. Hypebook was created to bridge this gap by capturing the "hidden" achievements of student life, leadership, soft skills, and project milestones, and turning them into a verified digital record., which can lead to delays, missed information, and extra work.

The platform serves as a lifelong professional diary, moving away from static, once-a-year resume updates to a real-time capture of growth. By focusing on the "Hype" (a social-professional endorsement), the platform ensures that a student’s identity is built on what they have actually achieved and what their community can verify.

The primary objective of Hypebook is to empower the next generation to build professional credibility through evidence. We aimed to create a system where students don’t just say they are capable, but can prove it through a history of verified milestones.

• Replace unverified self-claims with "Hypes" — endorsements from teachers, mentors, and peers that add weight to a student's profile.
• Provide a secure "Vault" where students can store their achievements, projects, awards, and supportive images and videos in one organized place.
• Allow students to showcase their selected achievements through a public "Hypepage" and a professional resume generated directly from their verified records.
• Shift resume-building from a stressful task to a daily habit of logging "small wins" and milestones as they occur.
• Give educators and coaches a simple interface to recognize student effort, helping them provide better career guidance.

We collaborated with Hypebook to design and engineer an ecosystem that balances social engagement with professional utility. Our team built a robust platform that handles three core functions: Record, Verify, and Showcase.

Through the "Log" feature, we made it easy for students to upload evidence of their work. We then developed a verification engine where mentors can "Hype" these entries, adding a layer of third-party trust. Finally, we engineered a dynamic portfolio builder that allows students to select their best moments and present them to the world via a public-facing "Hypepage" and a professional resume.

The result is a platform that helps students move from "searching for a start" to "owning their identity" by focusing on evidence-based recognition.
